These systems are widely used in domestic and commercial plumbing for water, heating, and gas applications. 

Note a specific fitting must be used with gas, which is indicated by a yellow ring

Common Press-Fit Fittings

  • Straight Couplers: Used to join two lengths of pipe.
  • 90° & 45° Elbows: Essential for making turns.
  • Tee Connectors: Used for branching lines.
  • End Caps: Designed to permanently seal off a pipe end. 
  • M-Profile Compatibility: Most standard UK stainless press fittings use the M-Profile, meaning they are compatible with common M-profile pressing jaws and tools.

Certifications: High-quality fittings are typically WRAS approved for drinking water and BSI Kitemark certified for safety and performance.
