HOLLOW WALL CAVITY FIXINGS

Hollow Wall & Cavity Fixings

These anchors are engineered specifically for low-density or hollow substrates like plasterboard or hollow blocks where expansion anchors would pull right through.

  • Hollow Wall Anchors (Redigrip): A metal sleeve fixing that collapses and spreads outwards into a flat, four-leg "umbrella" shape against the reverse side of a plasterboard sheet when tightened.
  • Spring Toggle Anchors: Features a long screw paired with two spring-loaded metal wings. The wings are folded flat to push through a pre-drilled cavity hole, where they spring open autonomously on the inside to distribute weight across a wide area.

Plasterboard Self-Drill Fixings (Redidrive): Coarse-threaded zinc or nylon plugs that screw directly into drywall without requiring a pre-drilled hole. A standard woodscrew is then driven into the centre of the plug to hold lightweight items like pictures or mirrors.
