LARGE OD WASHERS

A Large OD (Outer Diameter) washer, sometimes referred to as a penny washer or repair washer, is a flat, plain washer featuring an exaggeratedly wide outer diameter relative to its inner hole size.

Their primary purpose is to spread clamping loads over a bigger surface area, protecting fragile materials and preventing fastener pull-through.

A2 (Grade 304): Standard outdoor grade providing reliable rust resistance in wet environments
A4 (Grade 316): Marine-grade steel specifically resistant to salt water and chemical pitting
