Automatic Flow Protection: High-Performance Check Valves (Non-Return Valves)

Check valves, universally known as non-return valves (NRVs), are self-actuating safety devices engineered to allow fluids to flow freely in only one direction.

When fluid flows in the forward direction, it pushes the internal mechanism open. The moment the flow stops or reverses, the valve closes automatically under gravity, spring tension, or backpressure.

 This immediate action prevents backflow, protects expensive upstream equipment (like pumps and flow meters) from damage, and eliminates system water hammer.
