RAISED COUNTERSUNK SLOTTED

RAISED COUNTERSUNK SLOTTED

Raised countersunk slotted head self-tappers are the "classic" decorative screw.

They feature a conical base to sit flush in a countersunk hole, topped with a smooth, rounded dome and a traditional single-slot drive.

Best For:

  • Restoration & Heritage: Essential for vintage cars, classic boats, and antique furniture where modern cross-head screws would look historically inaccurate.
  • Decorative Hardware: Used for mounting high-end door plates, marine deck fittings, and visible electrical components where a "high-finish" look is required.
  • Snag-Free Surfaces: The rounded top ensures there are no sharp edges to catch on skin or fabric, making them popular for handrails and seating trim.
